BATIC AC: Kai the Messenger

a redesign of my OC, Kai, for BATIC RP season 2

Background Story
Kai firstly appears in Linwood with both an eagerness and anxiety. She and her mother rush there after they read a letter from their relative who lives in the peaceful underground city. The letter said that the sender saw a figure of a man who is very similar with Kai's father on the city between the crowds.

Kai's father had been disappearing for years. One day he suddenly left his family without a single word, even to his own wife. Kai's mother sensed that there was something not right, and she and Kai since then searched for him.
Unfortunately, Linwood is a massive city with many stairs, so it's very difficult to search the missing person. Kai and her mother who are came from a continent outside Arletha decided to stay for a few days after a long trip. Just then Kai remembered her Staras friend, saying that he lived on the city. There she meets with Earth, and the old friends are reunited.

Many stories they shared, and fortunately Kai remembered something important for Earth. Lately she often sees many Staras on a continent where she came from. She was curious, why such a race that is considered to be extinct suddenly shows up? Did when the Great War between races happen, some of Staras managed to flee to other continent, and hideously lived there? It's hard to believe, but it doesn't mean that it is impossible.

Earth has an urge that he has to go there, knowing that his brothers and sisters from his race are still out there and searches for them, but it's hard for him to leave. He also has family and friends to protect, and they are as important as his own race. Understanding the situation, Kai then offers her help—she is willing to replace his position and work for the government as a guarantee of their and her own mother's safety.


Personality
Kai is lively and hyperactive. (just imagine that she is like a wild monkey free from its cage *bricked*) Her cheerfulness can make people around her feel better, and she has a lot of friends because of her social attitude. Sometimes she looks a little bit childish, and she's helpless about love (never thought about that and less sensitive on that part lol). She is easily get distracted, especially by sweet food. She loves to eat something sweet XD

Her over-tomboyish behavior makes most of people think that she is a boy, only a very few of them know the truth. Moreover, Kai doesn't like to wear girl's outfits—the boy's make her more comfortable. She also enjoys making people curious about her gender, and never told them the answer.
Apart from that, she is fully an extraordinary person. She has an ability to see the dead—ghosts and spirits—because of her mother who is an expert in shamanism. She was able to see them when she was four. And as a result, now talking to them is a part of her daily life.

Here's where 'don't judge a book by its cover' works. Kai thinks that the most of the ghosts and spirits are nice, and she loves to chat with them. People who don't know her may think that she talks to herself and consider her as a freak—no, a scary weirdo but once you know her, you will find out that she is a nice person
Another thing, she is also mischievous. She likes to joke and have a sense of humor. She sometimes looks in her calm and laid back states facing things and problems, but she still knows when she has to be serious.


Skills:
- small and short body, able her to slip anywhere easily
- strong aura ables her to make her opponent feels threatened and intimidated
- her attacks are small, but many and quick. Speed is her strong point, makes the opponent almost has no chance to counterattack
- stamina! She loves outdoor activities, and she doesn't get tired easily
- maybe there's something to do with her eyes... who knows?


relationship with Earth
CONTAINS SPOILER!!! DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!
Remember back then Earth was adopted by an acolyte family? The family has a sibling on another continent, outside Arletha. The acolyte wanted to contact his sibling to take care of Earth if something happened to him and his family, but because the situation after war that had just happened, he couldn't do it. And when the government found out about this, he wanted to save Earth and told him to flee to another continent, but he couldn't make it. Earth never known that his adopted family has a sibling there.

In the other hand, the sibling got married, had kids, decades later had grandchildren, and so on. And 15 years ago, Kai was born. The sibling of the acolyte was her true ancestor. And 8 years ago, when she was 7, she met Earth, who was a traveler and her future old friend. They met without knowing a truth that they are actually adopted relatives.</sub>


- I like both colors of Kai's mantle, so I make both colors available. she can wear the mantle with dark or light color
- I can't decide the color for her scarf. Firstly I like the light color one, but later I found out that the dark one looks nice too. PLEASE HELP ME TO CHOOSE QAQ or maybe I'll make it available for both colors too?
