 Background

_{Once, there was a Lalafell couple with two daughters—Ulala Ula and Kimumu Kimu. They had a simple, happy life, but a few years later, the mother died of an illness. The father became a widower until he met another woman and fell in love with her. They got married, and had a child named Velala Vela.}

_{Despite the step relations, the family lived peacefully in a small city. However, monsters attacked their living place and they quickly fled to the nearest village. The parents gave up their lives so that the three children were safe, and in that time, Vela—who cordially called as Velly—was only two years old.}

_{Kimu and Ula then lived together and raised their younger step-sister. With the help of villagers, they could live independently, although they were orphans. Once Kimu and Velly were old enough to live by themselves, Ula set off to become a Black Mage.}

_{Years later, the miasma engulfed the village where Kimu and Velly lived. Ula, who was currently a Dark Summoner, came back to save her sisters and the villagers alongside her lover in the same guild. With their help, the sisters could escape, but with the lover’s life as the cost. They fled to the nearest place, Perido Farm and lived there.}

_{Velly was very saddened seeing how devastated her step-sister was. Among the three sisters, Ula suffered the most for losing people important in her life more than once—she was even traumatized for it. The littlest sister wanted to be always there for her, and since then she made up her mind. She didn’t want people to die like her parents or Ula’s lover, and didn’t want anyone to suffer just like her sister. With this resolve, as well as responding to the Kingdom's call, the youngest sister took the White Mage major in Meion and started to learn white magic.}

 Chocobo Relation

_{The white gallant chocobo, named Chocolatte belonged to Ula’s lover at first. During the miasma attack where Velly lived, he sacrificed himself and ordered the others, including his mount to run. Reluctantly Chocolatte fled with others to honor his last wish. Even though she was back to her healthy state, Chocolatte, unlike the other chocobos, often secluded herself from her kind—she had been longing for journey with her owner. The chocobo breeder noticed Chocolatte’s loneliness, and when Velly was going to say goodbye to go to Meion, he asked her to take Chocolatte along with her. Velly kept the name given to the white chocobo and took a good care of her to honor her savior.}

_{Velly usually calls Chocolatte by a nickname ‘latte’ or ‘cocoa’, but when the chocobo is pretty far away, she will summon her through whistling.
Chocolatte wears the same flower pin with Velly's.}

Berylle Guild: Centurion 
 

_{Located in Berylle, Centurion is a guild consists of 3 Squires, 1 Fighter, 1 Archer, 1 Black Mage and 2 White Mages. Velly is often to be seen on the first floor of the headquarter, mostly tending flowers and grasses as all plants growing inside the guild--potted or not--was under her care.
Velly mostly was in good terms with her guild members. She was so supportive towards them and sees them as a part of her family. Velly enjoyed their companion and grew to love each of them, which resulting her to become pretty protective when it was about their safety. Although she was the one that needs to be protected and often play pranks on them}

    _{-          Riley Ivers (Leader)}

_{Velly met Riley for the first time in their Guild quarter on Berylle. At first, Velly saw the young man as a friend and guildmate, but Riley’s actions in taking care of the four Lalafells in the guild made Velly to see him as an older brother figure. She calls him ‘big bro’, and despite he is a lazy and airhead leader, Velly likes him very much for being compassionate and fair—although she often plays pranks on him. She is often seen sticking on Riley with Roro on her leisure time--or simply monopolizes his hammock as her bed for her nap time.}

    _{-          Rorotoka Aaatoka}

_{Vely and Roro are childhood friends. Even though they were separated during the monster’s attacks, they met again at Perido to seek refuge. These two Lalafells, when together, are two naughty pranksters, causing troubles for themselves but never regretted their actions despite being given punishments. Velly doesn’t mind of Rorotoka’s lack of expression, they just match just fine like two beans in a pod. Both of them often seen being together doing so many things, especially that they are fellow guildmates now.}

    _{-          Konokone Kenokone}

<sub>Velly’s guiltmate as well. They match each other just fine, as well as with Roro as trio naughty pranksters. They share same traits in common—spend Guild’s cash to buy their own snacks, playing firecrackers, disobeying orders, and causing so many troubles anywhere—anytime. Velly cares about Kono greatly, mainly because how crybaby he is. Anyone outside the guild who dared to hurt him in any way will have Velly to loathe them.

    -          Eir

As if the Viera is taking a role become a bartender, Velly sees Eir as a mother figure. The Viera is so kind and caring, as if she is the mother of all the guildmates and is very protective towards all the Lalafells in the guild. Seeing how distinctive her maternal figure surfaced at the first day, Velly immediately addressed her as 'mama'. Barely known her biological mother in all her life, Velly sees Eir as her own mother and became pretty sticky as well with her though she is pretty disappointed that Eir doesn't add any alcohol in her drinks.

    -          Cecil Pecil

Another Lalafell Velly is fond of. Cecil is not really different with herself, their innocence matches like two peas in a pod. Only the difference is Cecil's sense of protection. Velly adores Cecil's protectiveness towards all the guild members and would like to see him grows into a powerful knight in the future despite of his size. During their meal time, Velly often gives her sweet food to Cecil (or Kono) as she notices how sweet-toothed he is.
