Chlorophylla (Chlora) Race
Species: Afyria
Chlorophylla, or Chlora in short, is a race that consists of humanoid floras. Their appearances are various based on which plants they represent, and most of them has leaves, vines, or branches as their hair. one of them is Afyria.
A Chloran whose plant represents Afyria is often called Afyrian.
Afyria is a plant with vine (or sort of a climbing plant) flourished with leaves, even, flourished too much. Most Afyrians tend to have overgrown leaves, especially if they have enough sunlight everyday. Although Afyrian has overgrown leaves, they contains so many nutrition for herbivores. these leaves become a favorite for a certain species of caterpillars, and very important for their growth.
Afyrians and the caterpillars has been interacting a symbiotic mutualism for a long time. Afyrians provide nutirition, which is the overgrown leaves for the caterpillars, and the caterpillars can make the Afyrians' hair more beautiful.
How so?
The caterpillars have adapted from time to time to be more picky in choosing the leaves they want to eat. They choose leaves that are growing wild and messy on Afyrian's hair. indirectly, the caterpillars are like the Afyrian's 'hairdresser', as most of Afyrians are often overwhelmed by their overgrown leaves if they didn't do the symbiotic mutualism with the caterpillars.
as Chlorans have good relations with animals, Afyrians don't feel bothered when their hair has so many caterpillars, eating their leaves and tidying their hair. When the time for the caterpillars have come to become a cocoon, they usually make their cocoons on Afyrian's 'ears'.
(you can count all the caterpillar's behaviors as a reciprocation to the Afyrians). Their cocoons are generally shiny that make the Afyrians' appearances are more appealing, as the cocoons can be considered as a 'living earrings'.
After they turned into butterflies, the butterflies won't feed on Afyrian flowers, because Afyrians don't grow so many of them and only contains little honey. The butterflies will search for their food on other flowers, but soon they will come back to lay eggs on Afyrian's leaves. This cycle will be repeated over and over. Afyrians need the caterpillars, and so the vice versa.
Afyrian can be said as a shelter of these caterpillars until they become adults, which are butterflies. Afyrians have been good friends with them for a long time.

Afyrian features:
• Overgrown leaves
• Spring: green, more flowers
• Summer: green, more overgrown leaves
• Autumn: orange, mushrooms replacing flowers
• Winter: light blue (nearly white), no flowers

*you can use any kind of plants to create your Chlora character. or feel free making your OC as Afyria species for the group if you want to.
